Paradigm & Statement of Results

Update your personal email and mobile before you graduate 

Before you leave, please log into the Paradigm Student Portal and check your contact information is up to date.

Your personal email address is where you will receive details on Graduation, as well as work and alumni opportunities, and marketing information.

To log into Paradigm

Your student log in details are: 

  • Username = Student Number
  • Password = [Student Number + DDMM ] or as per password you have previously set  
    • where DDMM = first four digits of your date of birth in DDMMYYYY format.

Forgot your password

If you set up a personal password and have now forgot it, you can reset and create a new password. Simply chose “forget my password” and enter your STUDENT NUMBER and full Date of Birth. Paradigm will then send you a random password to your personal email address (not your AFTRS email address).

Grades available on Paradigm 

Following the Grade Panel review at the end of semester, your grades will be available for you to view on Paradigm 

Statement of Results

Students can print out a STATEMENT OF RESULTS from the Student Portal at any time. It will includes all results that are released as at the date of issue.

  • Following Grade Panel , you will also be able to print out a Statement of Results showing all your completed grades in your course 
  • This is not an official document but is a great way to see your completed units in your course until Graduation.

This Statement of Results is an AFTRS branded pdf which lists:

  • Student Details
  • All enrolled and completed units
  • Mark and Grades per unit
  • Credit Points Earned
How to print a Statement of Results

Once you have logged into Student Portal Paradigm , you will see the summary page with your photo and student details

A the bottom you will see an ACTIONS button  - if you click on the button,  the Statement of Results link will appear and you click on it to generate a pdf form.

Please note that semester grades are not uploaded into the Student Portal until after Grade Panels for each subject, held at the end of each semester.

 
If you need to know or share your GPA or WAM marks before Graduation, please contact the Student Centre. 

 

AFTRS recognises the importance of providing students the ability to report on WAM and GPA calculations as they are nationally and internationally recognised measures used to determine academic performance.

Grade Point Average (GPA) and Weighted Average Mark (WAM)  for your course are included on the Interim Transcript (available February) and on the Academic Transcript at Graduation. 

 

Student Centre Documents

Confirmation of completing your course 

If you require a letter confirming, you have completed your course work this can be provided by Student Centre on request. Please note, your date of completion is as per the date of the final Grade Panels , which for most courses is 20-22 December 2023.

If this is required for further study , or for an employer or job application, we also recommend you print a Statement of Results as well to show grades/completions of course subjects:  the statement will show all completed units on the Student Management System at the time of printing. 

 

 

 

Interim Academic Transcript available in February on request

 

An Interim Academic Transcripts will be available on special request 

An Interim Academic Transcript is an official document issued when an individual has been confirmed as having completed one or more accredited units , and has been approved completed by the Academic Board but has not yet been conferred for Graduation (which happens in May and December by the AFTRS Council)  

This will only be required if a Graduand is apply for further study or overseas visa etc where proof of course completion is required BEFORE Graduation. 

This is a printed document and not available as a soft copy so it must be printed  on AFTRS Letterhead and mailed/collected by Graduand, who can then scan it to email out as necessary. 

 

Academic Transcript & Testamur at Graduation 

Once conferred by Council, you will receive your Academic Transcript and Testamur for your course. 

For end of year conferals, your documentation will be posted to you via Registered Post, and you will be invited to the Graduation Ceremony the following year. 

For May conferals, you will be presented your documentation at Graduation Ceremony  or posted to you on request. 

If you have not completed your Exit Clearance by the time of Graduation, you will still be invited to attend but you will NOT receive your Transcript and Testamur during the ceremony.  Once you have returned any outstanding items/paid debt, then your documentation will be sent to you.
