All completing students must complete your Exit Clearance as outlined in the Student Handbook.
If you do not return all required items listed below, you will not receive your Academic Transcript or Testamur until these items are returned.
So please read and action by the required dates. Fines will be incurred for any item not returned/lost and you may not be eligible to Graduate
If you want to check what you have outstanding, or if you have any items outstanding , then please contact the relevant department to check : Library, Tech Store, Service Desk, Post Production, Finance or Student Centre (locker keys).
If you have recently returned items, then please just send an email to studentinfo@aftrs.edu.au to let us know so we can ensure we have accounted for them.

Outstanding AFTRS Invoices /Debt/Printing fees
If you have any concerns about returning by due date, please reach out to the Student Centre to discuss.

can be returned to the RED BOX sitting outside Student Centre on campus - please make sure you mark on your locker key number if you don’t have the original number tag – so we know who it belonged to This will likely be the last thing you will return

can be returned to the RED BOX sitting outside Student Centre on campus - if you remove the top photo section, you MUST identify who the white security card so we know who it belonged to

The library will be following up via email to your AFTRS email to any students who have outstanding items on loan.
Fines will be issued for any items that you do not return by 29 March 2024 and you may not be able to graduate if you do not pay those fines.
You can still access the Library both on-site and online (including streaming services) until 29 March 2024

RETURN ANY MONIES OWED TO AFTRS FROM OUTSTANDING INVOICES OR FINES
If you have a concession Opal Card, your student access will finish 20 December 2023, the date of the final Grade Panels.
This date is listed with Transport NSW and while your Opal Card and student card still seem valid, your travel concession is not.
If you are still travelling to and from AFTRS from now until end December, then you may need to get a new facing for your Student Card to show 20 December end date. Please see Cathy at Reception to organise.
You may have received an email from Transport NSW saying your travel concession expires in November : this was the original end date uploaded to Transport NSW when we issued travel concessions but we have updated with Transport NSW now until 20 December 2023.
From Orientation Week 19 February 2024, the Masters space will have some new tenants as the new MASY1 students arrive.
By the end of January, all MASY2 Graduands must clear up their space, gather personal items and empty lockers.
This timeframe will allow us to clean up and reset the space for new students and progressing students.
MAS Graduands who are still working on Capstone are still able to use Masters Space into February but must be mindful of new MAS students from Orientation Week onwards.
You will continue to have access to your AFTRS email and Office 365 account as well as your email groups for any Graduand or School wide emails that are sent out during the Graduand period.
We suggest that you start saving /forwarding any AFTRS emails you want to keep to your personal email next year as well as any documents saved on your One Drive account. Don't forget to copy your email contacts list as well.
