ORIENTATION SCHEDULE

 

Click on your course below to find your specific O-Week schedule for the week of 24-28 February 2025.

Orientation is a key part of your course and attendance is mandatory. Please contact studentinfo@aftrs.edu.au if you have any questions.

CHECKLIST BEFORE YOU ARRIVE 
 You will need to complete a few things before O-Week and bring some things with you:   

FORMS TO COMPLETE AND RETURN

DIETARY RESTRICTIONS                                         

There are social events throughout O-Week where food may be provided. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions by completing this online form by Mon 10 Feb. 

 

PHOTO RELEASE FORM 

AFTRS may photograph, film and/or record throughout O-Week. Please complete this release form and return to studentinfo@aftrs.edu.au to permit the use of these images by Wed 19 Feb.

If you do not wish to be photographed, filmed and/or recorded please let us know via the same email address. 

TRAVEL CONCESSION 

If you are a domestic, full-time student and wish to apply for a NSW Tertiary Student Concession Opal card - please complete this application form and return to studentinfo@aftrs.edu.au. 

TO BRING TO ORIENTATION

PHOTO ID TO COLLECT STUDENT CARD

You will need to bring Photo ID to show when collecting your Student ID Card on the first morning. 

YOUR LAPTOP 

And don't forget your charge cord !   We can help you log into the AFTRS systems when you arrive  if you haven't already.  

A WATER BOTTLE

You can fill these up from the water-coolers/taps around building.  

CLOSED TOE SHOES 

We recommend wearing closed-toe shoes as all students are required to wear them if you enter a studio, which you will be during the week.  

REMINDER 

  • If you haven't sent in a photo for your Student ID Card or provided your USI number, please do so ASAP as this is very important to complete before your start date. 

  • If you haven't completed your eCAF FEE-HELP submission, please do so this week - any issues, please email studentinfo@aftrs.edu.au. 

  • If you haven't paid your UPFRONT fees by the due date on your invoice, please pay immediately.
