Consultations are offered to AFTRS students for questions that cannot be answered within a short time frame.
AFTRS Librarians will:
* Discuss a research question.
* Guide on the most appropriate books, DVDs, electronic resources and other information sources for you to do your own research for your assignments and productions.
* Provide information skills training to find and manage information retrieval.
* Assist with APA7 referencing.
* Work with teachers to support teaching, production and research activities.

Each session, lecturers are able to place library resources on Closed Reserve in the AFTRS Library, which ensures they remain available to all students when required.
Usually these items are unable to be loaned out, so you will need to come into the library to use them. Sometimes they are available for an overnight loan, and must be returned the following day.
If you want to make photocopies or scans of book chapters, just make sure you are only copying 10%, or one chapter, to avoid breaching Copyright laws.
You can watch DVD's or BluRays in our Viewing Room. Bookings can be made here!
The Closed Reserve shelf is just next to the Library Information Desk. Check in with the staff member on the desk if you have any questions.
