PANDORA Archive

The name, PANDORA, is an acronym that encapsulates its mission:

Preserving and Accessing Networked  Documentary Resources of Australia.

It was established by the Australian National Library in 1996.

It is a selective collection of web publications and websites relating to Australia and Australians.

It includes materials that document the cultural, social, political life and activities of the Australian community and intellectual and expressive activities of Australians.

Basically PANDORA is Australia's internet archive.
