The Curated Collection : TeeVee on Film: Home

Inspired by the golden years of 80s and 90s TV, this Curated Collection is all about clunky lo-fi media and films about the "idiot box". References include WonkaVision and the character Mike TeeVee from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971), the Max Headroom TV signal hijacking incident of 1987, Poltergeist (1982) and Videodrome (1983): two horror films with iconic scenes featuring the TV set, and the pre-"white noise" sound of TV static.
