AFTRS Library: Streaming

The Korean Film Archive works to create a more profound cinematheque culture based on its cinematheque
experience so far. It is a space where a variety of classic and artistic films, both domestic and international,
are screened in accordance with the basic purpose of rediscovering the values of films suffering from
wear and tear, films gradually forgotten by audiences, and films whose values were not properly recognized.

Search for animation works by genre, type of motion, technique, or character. You can see that a wide variety of production styles and expressions were created early on.
Early Japanese animation works were produced by a small team of people like a homemade handicraft business. Here, we introduce the pioneer artists who delivered these works to the world and built the foundation for Japanese animation.
Animation works can be viewed as a list including images in order of date or title. Alternatively, enter keywords to search for specific works.

Currently featuring the official details of more than 4000 Japanese films in both English and Japanese

Under the Screenrights licence, staff of educational institutions are permitted to copy from TV and radio and then use the copied material for the educational purposes of the institution.
The Library has a collection of off-air recordings that can be viewed at AFTRS as well as remotely using AFTRS login credentials. Off-air Recordings can also be clipped and used in assignments.
